Mykonos through the seasons

Mykonos through the seasons

The best time to visit Mykonos, the stunning Greek island known for its vibrant nightlife and picturesque landscapes, largely depends on your preferences and priorities. Ultimately, the best time to visit Mykonos depends on your desired atmosphere and activities, whether you seek a vibrant party scene or a peaceful island retreat.

When to visit Mykonos

Spring

In spring, Mykonos starts to open back up as the weather gets warmer and the tourist season begins. May and early June offer a peaceful atmosphere with reasonable prices, although the sea may still be too chilly to swim in.

Summer

Summer is the busiest season in Mykonos, especially in July and August. If you want to experience a lively Mykonos where guests and partiers abound, this is the time to go! You'll benefit from some of the island's best nightlife, though prices tend to be higher at this time of year.

Autumn

As the summer ends and the weather begins to cool, Mykonos regains some of its calm and becomes one of the best places to travel with your family. September and October are ideal for a quieter, laid-back visit with warm seas perfect for swimming.

Winter

Though most clubs and restaurants are closed in the winter, Mykonos remains a great place to find winter sun in Europe and keep warm in the cooler months!
