This villa is a beautiful 5 bedroom summer home situated in the remote area of Makria Miti, at the tranquil southern coast of Paros. Surrounded by olive trees and set just a few steps away from a secluded beach, the villa offers eye-soothing vistas and privacy without being actually secluded -the nearest village is only 1,5 km away and the bustling centre of the island just a 15 min drive.
The residence pays its dues to the residential vernacular. Traditional Cycladic architecture translates into an elegant, clean-lined retreat with large, luminous spaces that connect the interior to the landscape. The terraces are oriented toward the seascape and fitted with the basics of summer living -comfortable lounge and dining areas, a pergola that offers much needed shade and an inviting swimming pool to cool down from the blazing hot sun.
The interior is carefully decorated to inspire an air of easy-going sophistication. Low-rise bulky furniture in subtle colours are complemented by vintage pieces that bring an island-chic flair to the rooms. The palette is mostly white, with a few accents of colour coming from hand-picked art objects and ornaments. The bedrooms are minimally decorated to create a relaxing atmosphere and let the views take centre stage.
